BOARD OF ADVISORS Marie has 22 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on fraud deterrence and detection. She is President of the Wall Street consulting firm, Gemini-Fidelity Consultants, LLC, where she provides forensic accounting and fraud detection services for individuals and small business owners. Marie also consults anti-fraud professionals on implementing effective, non-traditional marketing techniques for their firm. She is an author, speaker, and trainer on various financial and marketing issues. In her spare time, Marie trains Asian-American and other women in becoming successful entrepreneurs. Prior to her role at Gemini-Fidelity, Marie held Directorships at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania where she worked in accounting, finance, strategic management, and in implementing and monitoring internal controls, as well as ensuring governmental compliance. Marie is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Manhattan Chapter of the ACFE, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the New York State Society of CPAs. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an EdM from Columbia University, and is currently working on her PhD in psychology. |
